Skip Placement Guidelines

We have broken our placement guidelines down into a simple checklist, so preparation for your skip’s arrival is one easy process.

  • Ensure the access space is able to accommodate a 3 meters wide delivery vehicle.
  • The desired location for your skip must be on private property. We will only allow public property placement with valid permits from the relevant councils.
  • Skips cannot be placed in areas where the delivery vehicle must cross grass patches.
  • We do not accept any responsibility for any damages that incur from our skips and vehicles.
  • The customer is responsible for the safekeeping of the skip and its contents.
  • Ensure the access route and desired location can bear the maximum gross weight of 18 tonnes (weight of skip lorry).
  • The maximum skip hire period is 14 days. We reserve the right to collect the skip following this date without notice, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Delivery truck dimensions: Length 6.7 m/22 ft. Width 3.1 m/10 ft including wing mirrors. Rear of truck 2.5 m/ 8 ft 2 in. Static height 10 ft 10 in.
